RCAM Academy at Northeast State

Quesenberry’s Construction was selected as the General Contractor for the new Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing for Northeast State Community College through a competitive bid solicitation. This project was located behind the existing RCAM facility and adjacent to a busy industrial complex. This location necessitated a detailed construction phasing and coordination plan that ensured operations of adjacent facilities remained at full capacity throughout construction. The facility incorporates lecture and laboratory space on the second floor with the first floor containing equipment and instructional space. This facility was designed and constructed using Tennessee High Performance Building Requirements, which included high standards for energy efficiency, building performance, recycled material content, and construction waste management. With Quesenberry’s carefully managing all aspects of the construction phase, this project was able to be completed on time and within budget.
