Eastside High School, Coeburn

Project Summary

Quesenberry’s Construction was selected as the General Contractor for the new Eastside High School through a competitive bid solicitation. The project involved the complete renovation and expansion of new areas to allow the existing Coeburn High School to act as the new consolidated school for Coeburn and St. Paul students. Work included a complete renovation to the existing building including new finishes; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; structural repairs; complete gymnasium renovations; and provisions for ADA compliance. New expansions to the facility included a new science wing and administrative offices. Exterior improvements included new egress paths and hardscapes, as well as rerouting of existing traffic patterns including bus drop off and parking. This project had a hard finish date set prior to the commencement of work to allow the facility to be open on time for future classes, and Quesenberry’s was able to meet that date while finishing the project within the specified budget.
